The interior cabinetry was handcrafted by -Joseph McGlassen, in his shop and installed in the fiberglass hull copied from his very successful 24 ft. wooden sloop by a local composite fabrication shop owned by Dick Valdes. Thus was borne the enormously successful Columbia Boats line. The historic details are available online at columbia-yachts.com and include an ancient photo of this very boat in black and white

Located on the hard at the Hances Point Yacht Club near the town of North East Maryland USA. (yes someone named a town 'NORTH EAST') The town is located at the northern tip of the Chesapeake Bay
No soft decks nor window leaks (after all these years).
The Bimini has passed but was adapted from a standard inexpensive aluminum frame model sold for runabouts.
I have installed a ten ft racing boom a foot higher to accomodate a bimini. Included is an expensive compatable racing sail (to J22 specs). All original items are available and included.
